music is sold outright so you can play it however you like.
People play it on the radio and do the whole royalty thing.
Don't even go there. I don't do that. My bells music is
licensed, not sold.
You pay for a service (my personally
burning it to CD for you) and for licensing its use. You don't
own the music, but you pay for certain permissions, similar to your
limited rights when you rent videos... and in this case you keep the
disc, which I donate for free. Each copy has information on what
is allowed to do with it. So you are clearly paying for a service
and for licensing.
