How to Download ChurchBells
(Please keep your
cell phone away from your laptop
or wireless enabled computer while you download;
cells update their connection every few minutes,
causing file corruption during such large files.)
If you have
"broadband", DSL or Cable internet,
or if your internet is supplied at work, use this:
(Please try one of these two... if you get any
problem with one
then try the other download.)
http://InspiredCode.com/CustomCB.exe
.
http://InspiredCode.net/CustomCB.exe
.
If you have slow
dialup (56k or
slower), use this:
http://InspiredCode.net/WebInstl.exe
.
If you use this method, you will need to run the WebInstl.exe
file that you download. It will then fetch and use Badger to
get all the files you need, and it will install ChurchBells.
If you used Badger to install, you can find your
installation file
set in your computer at either: C:\DownBadg or
C:\BadgDown.
You can then burn those files you find there to a CD,
so you can take the CD to install upon a non-internet computer.
I do not recommend using any computer with
such an old hard
drive that it has no room on C, but if you feel you must, the
above slow dialup file set method is now the only way to
accomodate such ancient computers; that file set will allow
you to choose your install directory. The new CustomCB.exe
method chooses it for you, to make sure that Vista will not
get annoyed with ChurchBells tending its own program folder.
