ACT1:1The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,
ACT2:1And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
ACT3:1Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
ACT4:1And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,
ACT5:1But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,
ACT6:1And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.
ACT7:1Then said the high priest, Are these things so?
ACT8:1And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.
ACT9:1And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,
ACT10:1There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band,
ACT11:1And the apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.
ACT12:1Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.
ACT13:1Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.
ACT14:1And it came to pass in Iconium, that they went both together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spake, that a great multitude both of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed.
ACT15:1And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.
ACT16:1Then came he to Derbe and Lystra: and, behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timotheus, the son of a certain woman, which was a Jewess, and believed; but his father was a Greek:
ACT17:1Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews:
ACT18:1After these things Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth;
ACT19:1And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,
ACT20:1And after the uproar was ceased, Paul called unto him the disciples, and embraced them, and departed for to go into Macedonia.
ACT21:1And it came to pass, that after we were gotten from them, and had launched, we came with a straight course unto Coos, and the day following unto Rhodes, and from thence unto Patara:
ACT22:1Men, brethren, and fathers, hear ye my defence which I make now unto you.
ACT23:1And Paul, earnestly beholding the council, said, Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day.
ACT24:1And after five days Ananias the high priest descended with the elders, and with a certain orator named Tertullus, who informed the governor against Paul.
ACT25:1Now when Festus was come into the province, after three days he ascended from Caesarea to Jerusalem.
ACT26:1Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Thou art permitted to speak for thyself. Then Paul stretched forth the hand, and answered for himself:
ACT27:1And when it was determined that we should sail into Italy, they delivered Paul and certain other prisoners unto one named Julius, a centurion of Augustus' band.
ACT28:1And when they were escaped, then they knew that the island was called Melita.
